DIVA GLAM VEGAS/ METALLIC ILLMATIC

DIVA GLAM VEGAS

Last week myself and my Blogger Babe Anne-Marie (The 'Twenty Sumtin Sumtin)attended the DIVA GLAM VEGAS event by Thomas Cook Airlines.

We rushed straight from the AX Paris HQ,dodged the rain and anticipated what was going to be in-store( it was our first official blogger event #newbies lol)

We was warmly welcomed with cocktails, tasty canapes and a Diva Glam Vegas Package.

The Venue,The Milton Club  had a cool ,uber glam atmosphere with  a diva make-over station , a gambling area ( I was pretending to be in hangover ;))A bar with an exclusive cocktail menu and last but not least a photo booth for the divas... as you can see we had fun).

The event celebrated Thomas Cook Airlines NEW OFFER as they
offer 2 flights a week from MANCHESTER to LAS VEGAS at cheap and cheerful prices!!!

This is obviously amazing and I can't wait to take advantage of this new deal (Girls Holiday coming soon ;)).

Check out their website below for more:

METALLIC ILLMATIC
THE LOOK

The dress code for the event was glitz, sequins and LBDS.
I honestly didn't know what to wear, what other bloggers would be wearing and as I was traveling straight from work I didn't want to be TOO OTT!

Instead of trying to be girly and dressy I decided to stay true to my style with my Metallic Gold 80's Jumpsuit styled with my LUKE GRANT MULLER Silver Brogues and FATZ K Knuckle Dusters(Mum hooked me up with the bling).

I truly think a 80's Jumpsuit is a Wardrobe Essential they have amazing detail, are very stylish and are quick and easy to wear!
Check out ETSY for similar looks.

I hope you've had a good read , stay tuned for more.

TEXTURE FLEX

TEXTURE FLEX

Hey guys I hope you've been having a fabulous start to your year so far and are looking forward to what I have in store.
NEW year NEW hair!
I'm now rocking braids :D which I've been wanting for ages! I'm trying to give my hair a break so my FRO will be hibernating for a while.

To complement my new hair,I've gone for a cool and casual look with an edge with clashing, animalistic prints, rips and textures.

THE LOOK

As you know I love to clash things up and I think all these statement pieces collide beautifully.

My RELIGION Jacket was from an Independent Pop up Boutique  (look out for my blog post)I can't source this style online but they have  amazing collections on their website!

When I bought the jacket I knew straight away that I wanted to style it with my AXPARIS Shirt.
You may have recognised the shirt from my FALL FLORALS Post. This piece has been on my wishlist for a GOOD GOOD while!

Both of these garms have an erratic, bold print and even though they clash they work well together.

My ripped MANGO Jeans add to the distressed, laid back look and really complemented my jacket.( I wore these in my first ever blog post! MAKAVELI VINTAGE).

The busted NIKES are my FAVE! AND YES I've had them for years!!!

I hope you've enjoyed my first look for 2015,
This year I'll also be writing more about hair products and tips so keep your eyes peeled for those reviews and posts!

LOTS OF LOVE!

WHICH ONES YOUR FAVOURITE LOOK ?

My last outfit  is a bold casual look and was my hardest shoot yet!

It was typically raining, ( Manchester Weather for you) my hair was blowing everywhere my eyes were streaming and to top it off burning (the rain was nicely getting hair stuff (products) into my eyes :( ) BUT my blogger babe THE TWENTY SUMTHIN SUMTHIN  managed to get some nice shots :D so I was happy in the end. thanks babe! (no pain no gain I guess).

As you know I'm a big lover of Statement 80's Jackets and this Velvet Vintage Paisely Jacket is one of my favourites! I love the array of blue shades , the hints of gold and the detail from the button to the intricate print.

The rest of the look was simple and casual teaming the blazer with a Knit, Black Skinny Jeans and my Lace Winter Boots (which i also wore in FALL FLORALS & PEACOCK).

THE LOOK

Investing in an Statement Jacket can really vamp of enhance your outfit and Rockit.com have some gorgeous Velvet Jackets if your a vintage lover or are going for a vibrant look you should deffo check it out!

I think this last outfit captures my love of vintage, vibrancy and casual nature ( I'm not really a classy chick).

All smiles.. I hope you all have an amazing NEW YEAR and continue to follow me on my Fashion Journey.

Lots of Love & Positivity For 2015

MOHAIR MUST HAVE

It's freezing outside and what better way to keep warm than with a Stylish Mohair Jacket?

They're elaborate, bold, cosy and ideal for the cold! From popping shades to subtle hues a Statement Mohair is for everyone.

I love the patchwork and pearl detail in the Jacket and especially the 80's circular collar.
I kept the shades neutral styling the Jacket with my Crisp White Lace Vintage Blouse, AXPARIS High Waisted Jeans and my SUPER DRY Cow Boy Boots(Check out EBAY for similar looks).

SLICKER THAN YOUR AVERAGE

SLICKER THAN YOUR AVERAGE

The nights are darker and moodier along with the Fashion Season
so I've gone for a dark, edgy look and mixed chic with hip-hop.

Again I'm wearing a Pac Piece.. what can I say I'm a Pacaholic!

I really like clashing graphics with prints and the earthy dark tones in the Jacket and the Baroque Prints are perfect for Winter.

I kept my hair slick and my accessories were a mixture of 80'S(earrings)and Contemporary Jewellery as my Statement FATZ K Neck Piece is made from recycled vintage (You may have recognised this Necklace from my AUTUMN SHADES look).

I love a Statement Jacket especially from the 80's so if you would like to recreate this look and like my style I've collated a few Beaut Blazers that you need in your life!

This Baroque Blazer is available on ETSY for just £13.15!

This bold look is from BEYOND RETRO I really like this piece as it reminds me my blazer.

This Beautiful 90's Jacket is also from ETSY

My Tupac dress if from H&M sadly it's sold out but this over sized Tee from EBAY is just as nice!

My Special Edition Croc Boots are from Solovair.

Get a similar look from MISSGUIDED they have an array of gorgeous Croc Looks.

I hope you like my styling and thanks so much for reading.
And don't forget to follow me on Instagram ;)

Stay tuned for more.

Lots of love
